Bridget Chomko

Development Manager

Bridget Chomko is a seasoned fundraising professional and nonprofit leader with more than 17 years of experience driving revenue, building strategic partnerships and delivering meaningful impact across Northeast Pennsylvania. She joined BLOCS in 2025 and works closely with businesses, individuals, and community leaders to expand participation in Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) - helping direct critical scholarship funding to students and families in the Greater Scranton region.

Prior to joining BLOCS, Chomko served as Director of Annual Giving at The University of Scranton, where she led multi-channel fundraising initiatives, cultivated major donors and managed high-performing campaigns that generated millions in annual support. Her leadership of large-scale efforts such as Day of Giving and Giving Tuesday significantly increased donor participation and revenue, contributing to sustained institutional growth.

Chomko holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wilkes University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Scranton, combining strong communication expertise with strategic business and fundraising acumen.

She is also the co-founder of a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans throughout Northeast Pennsylvania. Through strategic fundraising and community partnerships, the organization has dispersed nearly $500,000 in direct assistance to veterans facing housing instability, medical needs, and other urgent challenges.

Chomko lives in Scranton with her husband, Andy, and their son, Elias.
