With more than two decades of experience in advancement, project management, and partnership analysis, Jon Allison is a results-driven professional known for leveraging data and strategic insights to drive organizational growth. Jon joined BLOCS as a Development Manager in March 2025, where he helps promote and grow the mission of BLOCS and the EITC tax credit program.

Prior to joining BLOCS, he served as Major Gifts Officer at La Salle College High School for nearly 11 years, where he successfully managed a portfolio of over 150 prospects, increasing annual contributions by more than 65% within the first two years. His leadership in capital and planned gifts led to multiple six-figure donations and a significant expansion of the school’s EITC-based programming, growing contributions more than 400% over a five-year period by the conclusion of the 2023-24 school year.

Prior to his time at La Salle, Allison served as Associate Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs at his alma mater Salesianum School (1997) in Wilmington, Del., where he played a pivotal role in a successful $8.5M capital campaign, the school’s largest at its time of completion in 2010. His work included developing comprehensive communication strategies, founding and editing the school’s alumni magazine, and coordinating over 30 annual events with the support of 150+ volunteers. His ability to cultivate donor relationships and execute high-impact fundraising initiatives has consistently delivered strong financial outcomes and deepened community engagement. Allison also has experience as an adjunct instructor in technical writing and as a journalist, bringing a unique blend of analytical and communication skills to every endeavor. He holds a BA in Journalism from Penn State (2001), and an MBA with specializations in Analytics and Strategic Management from Villanova University (2018).

Allison and his wife, Kristin, live in Rosemont with their son Harry and daughter Giuliana, and are members of St. Thomas of Villanova Parish, where he serves on the stewardship council of the parish. Allison is a fan of all Philadelphia sports (Go Birds!), the Nittany Lions, the Wildcats, and the latest streaming TV show you can recommend. He also coaches in Radnor Little League and YSC Indoor Soccer.
