John DeAngelis joined BLOCS in 2025 and serves as a Development Manager. In this role, he works to connect stakeholders with opportunities that expand educational access for students and families across the region.

Prior to his current position, DeAngelis served as a Marketing Coordinator at BLOCS, where he focused on enhancing digital communications, streamlining content across platforms, and supporting initiatives that increased awareness and engagement among donors and partners.

Before joining BLOCS, he was a Multimedia Communications Specialist at Philadelphia Corporation for Aging, leading digital platform development and content strategies. He also held marketing, writing, and public relations roles with EDA Contractors and the Philadelphia Flyers.

DeAngelis earned his degree in Communications from Arcadia University in 2017. He currently lives in Philadelphia and is an avid sports and comedy fan.
