Know Before You Go

Timing:

The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. 

What to expect:

Guests can expect a cocktail reception and a BLOCS Scholar Showcase featuring a robotics display, student stories, live painting and live musical performances– followed by dinner and a program at 7:30 p.m.

Business Professional/Cocktail Attire

Location and Parking:

The Please Touch Museum is located at 4231 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia, PA 19131.

Both complimentary valet parking and complimentary self-parking are available to our guests (details below):

  • Valet Parking & Ride Share Drop-Off (4300 Avenue of the Republic) Available at the Carousel House Entrance. Alternatively, guests can be dropped off at the Carousel House Entrance and cars can be self-parked if preferred. 

  • Self-Parking (4231 Avenue of the Republic) Available in the Main Lot. Once parked, follow the BLOCS Gala signage and look for our BLOCS Scholars to guide you to the Carousel House entrance. 

Additional Information:

Guest check-in will be located outside the Carousel House entrance under a branded tent (table assignments will be provided at that time).

Coat check will be available onsite.

Alicia Vitarelli joined the Action News team in October 2010. She is the co-anchor of Action News at 5 and 5:30 P.M. and Action News at 10 A.M. Alicia is also the co-host of 6abc's weekly entertainment program, FYI Philly.
