Robert “Bob” Buck is a Shareholder at Buckno Lisicky & Company, where he specializes in corporate and personal taxation. He also has in-depth experience in the nonprofit sector, business entity structuring, and tax issues arising from the acquisition or sale of a business. His areas of expertise include tax planning and compliance, business consulting, and nonprofit organizations.
Buck joined Buckno Lisicky & Company in 2005 and was promoted to Shareholder in June 2006. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a tax consultant for Deloitte & Touche for nine years and spent two years as Senior Manager of Tax Services at a regional public accounting firm. He also served as Manager of the Corporate Tax Division at Bethlehem Steel Corporation.
A lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley, Buck graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1986 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from La Salle University in 1990. He is professionally involved with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
Buck is actively involved in the Lehigh Valley community. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Eastern Pennsylvania Scholarship Foundation, Treasurer of the Green & Gold Education Endowment Fund, and a Board Member of the Allentown Chamber of Commerce. His past community involvement includes serving as a member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors, Board Officer of the La Salle University Alumni Association, Board Member of the Allentown Commercial & Industrial Development Authority, and Treasurer of the Sayre Child Center.
Buck resides in Allentown with his wife, Melissa, and their two sons, Nicholas and Andrew. Outside of his professional and community commitments, he enjoys basketball and golf, as well as history and music. He also spends much of his free time volunteering at St. Thomas More Church and School.
