Alexis Gardner serves as Controller at BLOCS, where she oversees accounting and financial operations and supports organizational decision-making and governance. She brings more than 20 years of experience to BLOCS, with a background spanning outsourced accounting services, investment management, and public accounting. Gardner is a certified public accountant with a strong track record of providing financial support and guidance.

Prior to joining BLOCS, Gardner most recently worked with Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, delivering outsourced accounting support to nonprofit organizations throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. She was also self-employed for some time prior to that, partnering with small businesses and individuals to provide accounting and reporting services.

For most of her career, Gardner held key accounting and leadership roles at Verdis Investment Management and LBC Credit Partners, where she supported corporate accounting functions, financial reporting, investment fund administration, and internal controls, contributing to the development and maintenance of strong financial systems.
