Participate in the EITC Program

Donating to BLOCS through the EITC program is easy. All it takes is a simple, one page application specifying the donation you would like to make. Your credits get approved before you make a donation, and 100% of your donation will go directly to scholarships. BLOCS does not take any administrative fees or overhead costs out of your donation.

You can download the EITC application form and a complete step by step guide below. Remeber that Pennsylvania limits the amount of credits that are available through the EITC program each year. In order to ensure that you will be approved for the program, it is important that you send your completed application into the state on the following days:

For businesses in the 2nd year of a 2 year EITC commitment: Between May 17th and June 30th

For C corporations who are not in the 2nd year of a 2 year commitment: July 1st

For S corporations and partnerships who are not in the 2nd year of a 2 year commitment: July 8th

Because the state limits the amount of credits that are available statewide, it is important that you get your completed applications to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) on the dates listed above. The address of the DCED is listed on the EITC application. In order to ensure that your application arrives on the correct day, you may also forward your completed application to BLOCS, and we will deliver it to the DCED on the appropriate deadline.
