I would like to thank everyone who has supported the BLOCS Gala this year and/or supported BLOCS through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. Your efforts and donations help thousands of children attend Catholic schools each year.

Jeannie and I are honored to be a part of this great organization. We have had the pleasure of working with many of the great teachers and principals throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for many years and feel they provide one of the most valuable services to our children. Our city has never needed the business community more. An aging infrastructure, increased annual costs coupled with the growing financial needs of our children for scholarships create a challenge to the business community. My commitment as Chairman to our students, teachers, and administrators is to take on that challenge and inspire the business community to respond to this call. We need to insure that our schools are strong and healthy and that every student who wants a Catholic education has the opportunity to obtain one. The future of our city depends on it.
